If you haven’t heard of Virginia’s Northern
Neck, it’s the peninsula between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers with
the Chesapeake Bay on its eastern most border. On the eastern edge of the
peninsula is Kilmarnock, a charming small town with bigger city
Beginning in the 18th century as "The Crossroads" and then "Steptoe’s
Ordinary", Kilmarnock is filled with shopping, strolling and dining. Pedestrian
friendly sidewalks bring back a feeling of yesteryear.

Washington and Robert
E. Lee as part of a day trip through the Northern Neck.
