Gloucester - Nov. 9 - TOGA Virginia Half-Shell Oyster Tasting - Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA) - Shucking demonstrations and shucking tips. How to taste an oyster will be part of the afternoon program. Tasting cards for participants to write down their own impressions of the nuances of taste differences between local Virginia oysters and much more.
Lancaster - Nov. 16 - Shuckin' and Jivin' Oyster Roast on the Lancaster Green - Oyster roast on the museum grounds at historic Lancaster Court House. Ticket includes oysters, Lancaster stew, hot dogs, soda, wine, and beer.
Irvington - Nov 23 - Taste by the Bay: Wine, Food, Arts & Ale - he event features samplings from local wineries and breweries, tastings from local restaurants, live music and artisans. You won't want to miss this great event with a fresh new twist! A fun addition to this year’s event will be the food samplings!

Cape Charles - Nov. 30 - Oyster Roast- Cape Charles Museum - A tradition continues as the Cape Charles Historical Society presents its Annual Oyster Roast at the Cape Charles Museum. The menu includes raw and roasted oysters, fried chicken, clam chowder, potato salad, 3-bean salad, beverages, and home-made rolls and desserts.
Norfolk - Nov. 10 - Virginia Roast & Toast: Oyster Roast and Microbrew Beer Tasting - Join us for an afternoon on the river filled with Virginia oysters, barbeque, Virginia Microbrew beer, and wine. Ticket includes all food and beverage.
Newport News - Nov. 16 - Awww Shucks! Oyster Roast at the Virginia Living Museum - Oysters and chowder and shrimp, oh boy! It's the Virginia Living Museum's second annual Oyster Roast. Tickets include all-you-can eat oysters, seafood, clam chowder, Brunswick stew, dessert, soft drinks and coffee, plus two drink tickets for beer, wine and hard cider.
Williamsburg - Nov. 28-30 - "Food & Feasts of Colonial Virginia" at Jamestown Settlement - Explore 17th-century culinary practices of Virginia during this three-day event beginning on Thanksgiving Day. Visitors discover how food was gathered, preserved and prepared on land and at sea by Virginia's English colonists and Powhatan Indians.
Yorktown - Nov. 28-30 - "Food & Feasts of Colonial Virginia" at the Yorktown Victory Center - At the Yorktown Victory Center, a museum of the American Revolution, explore 18th-century culinary practices of Virginia during this three-day event beginning on Thanksgiving Day. Visitors learn about typical soldiers' fare during the war and trace the bounty of a 1780s farm from field to kitchen.
South Hill - Nov. 13 - Shriner's Seafood Festival - Enjoy seafood, music and fun with the South Hill Shrine Club at this annual festival.
