Since 1956, Harriett Petrell, her family and staff have been serving local patrons and travelers from far and near. House specialties include Southern favorites such as their very own Virginia peanut soup, Southern fried chicken, Virginia ham, spare ribs, baked stuffed pork chops, as well as a variety of hand-cut steaks, prime rib, fresh local seafood and select Italian dishes.
