MAD about Chocolate is a chocolate cafe by Marcel Desaulniers, author of Death by Chocolate and 9 other cookbooks.  The cafe features his over-the-top desserts, cookies, ice cream, plus savory items for lunch or snacks.  Wine and beer is also served and everything is available for takeout.  MAD about Chocolate is also the art gallery for co-owner Connie Desaulniers, known for her color-saturated 2 and 3-dimensional paintings (parts of the paintings come out of the canvas).  The cafe is just a block from the College of William and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg's Merchant Square.
