A 21st century American tavern, a casual spot, where the vibe is homey, the drinks excellent and the menu: “modern pub grub.”

Virtue Feed & Grain features soaring open windows, exposed brick and giant iron girders. Seating up to 350 revelers, this bi-level, airy warehouse also includes an outdoor patio (April thru November), TVs at each of the bars, and a private Porch room with a great view of the Potomac River.

We host both personal and corporate parties / ceremonies / receptions / dinners, offering a variety of menu options ranging from delicious appetizer platters to hearty custom buffets to four-course plated meals. We have AV capabilities for slideshows, presentations, and speeches, as well as the ability to play a custom playlist over our sound system.

Located on the Alexandria waterfront, the building was a feed house in the late 1800s. In keeping with the unique history of the building the renovation has gone above and beyond to preserve authenticity. The floors, walls, hand-crafted tabletops, and bar shelves are all constructed with period wood, each heralding from a unique past.
