Based in Cape Charles, Virginia, the Eastern Shore Birding and Wildlife Festival provides an incredible opportunity to catch sightings of species you may have never seen before. As one of the most important migration stop-overs on the East Coast, millions of songbirds and butterflies and thousands of raptors will converge here on their long journey south. With the natural splendor provided by the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge and Kiptopeke State Park, this is a migration celebration you'll always remember.
This year's Keynote speaker is Brian Sullivan. Brian has conducted fieldwork on birds throughout North America for the past 20 years. He is currently project leader for eBird and photographic editor for the Birds of North America Online at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.
The festival headquarters in Cape Charles provides easy accessibility from many major mid-Atlantic metropolitan areas.
