Danville is a former mill/tobacco town located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Southern Virginia. Featured properties highlight the area’s history. Dan’s Hill is a 2 1⁄2 story 1833 Federal style home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Adjacent to the Dan River Country Club Inn, a newly constructed English Cottagestyle home showcases handcrafted furniture and many artifacts from the owner’s travels. Two additional homes in upscale housing developments in the area have had extensive renovations, and include impressive art collections and vintage furniture. Finally, celebrating 100 years as Danville’s premier golf club, the Danville Golf Club will open its doors for lunch reservations and tours of the facility.

Proceeds from the event fund the restoration and preservation of Virginia's historic gardens, and provide research fellowships for building comprehensive and ongoing records of historic gardens and landscapes in the Commonwealth.

Advanced tickets and information are available at vagardenweek.org.

Admission Fee: $20.00 for full admission; $10.00 for single house admission
