Featuring live music, food vendors, a doggie costume parade, pie eating contest, children’s activities, dance demonstrations, a selfie photo station and more. This year, all of Mellen Street will be closed for the Vendors Market (featuring over 30 local crafters). Live musical entertainment will take place throughout the day, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Scheduled artists include Don Butcher, Wasted Presley, and Mason Brown. Other entertainment highlights for the day include the Betty Smith School of Dance, Hampton Roads Philharmonic, Karla Grase, Annie Wade Band, and Desert Wind Belly Dancers.
Also new this year is the Craft Beer Festival, taking place on Mellen Street. Eight craft beer vendors will be offering two selections a piece (16 beer tastings total) to festival attendees. There will also be wine available. Participating craft beer vendors include AleWerks Brewing Company, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Devils Backbone Brewing Company, Goose Island Beer Company, Legend Brewing Company, O’Connor Brewing Company, Smartmouth Brewing Company, and St. George Brewing Company.
Admission Fee: Free Admission; Fee for Craft Beet Festival is $25 for 16 tastings or $6 full pour
