The Highland Maple Festival celebrates the Highland County tradition of maple syrup-making. Designated a "Local Legacy” by The Library of Congress, this festival of 57 years, attracts upwards of 50,000 visitors from across the states. Sugar camp tours provide a unique and educational glimpse of a rapidly vanishing way of rural American life. Highlights of the festival include buckwheat and pancake breakfasts, maple donuts, locally harvested trout dinners, antiques, arts and crafts, bluegrass music and clogging demonstrations.

This year we are clebrating the Senate's decision of designating the Highland County Maple Festival as the "official" maple festival of the Commonwealth!

Admission Fee: $3.00
