The 16th Annual Warren Street Festival is a celebration of Warren Street and its history in Franklin County. The two-day festival at the Rocky Mount Farmers' Market includes food, gospel and R&B music, activities, and a car show and parade. The celebration starts Friday, Aug. 14 at 5 p.m. with a business expo, followed by music and dance, and continues Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. with a car show and parade, music and activities.
This year's event will feature "Portrait of Warren Street" a collection of historical photographs of buildings along Warren Street, musical performances from regionally and nationally-known groups including The Mighty Supremes, Lee Walker and The Spirits, Tony & The Magnificent Voices, The Alabama Girls, and many local groups.
