The 37th Annual Boydton Day Celebration, sponsored by the Boydton Ruritan Club, is one of the longest running events in the region. Plans for this year's celebration on Saturday, October 26th, are well underway. Boydton Day will include food, music, street vendors, and the annual Boydton Day Parade!
JB and the Get Down Browns will entertain during the afternoon, along with other special music groups. The annual vesper service will take place on Friday evening, October 25th at 6 pm in the old Presbyterian Church. This annual service draws a crowd of locals and visitors to come together and ask for a blessing on the community.
Funnel cakes, deep fried Twinkies, Brunswick stew, barbeque, and lemonade will be among the delicious foods offered by vendors. Local artists, crafts people and other merchants will be selling their wares on the streets of Boydton all day. The event will open at 9 am, the parade kicks off at 11 am, and the fun continues until 4 pm on the court house square.
Come join the celebration!
