Run Where our Founding Fathers Walked! Families and individual runners are invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Run for the Dream 8K Run/Walk on June 1, 2013. The race route takes you from the campus of The College of William & Mary and through the picturesque Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area, with a photo finish at William & Mary’s Zable Stadium. Start time is 8 a.m. The race has been chosen as the 2013 USA Masters 8 km Championships by USA Track & Field. The 8K is part of a weekend series of races that include a Kids Fun Run on June 1 and a half marathon on June 2. Race director is Dave McGillivray, the director of the Boston Marathon. Proceeds will benefit An Achievable Dream (www.AchievableDream.org) and Wounded Warrior programs.
