At the Yorktown Victory Center, a museum of the American Revolution, enjoy 18th-century holiday traditions with interpretive programs. Hear accounts of Christmas and winter in military encampments during the war and glimpse 1780s farm holiday preparations. In the Continental Army encampment, visitors learn about winter camp life and assist the quartermaster in preparing military supplies. Farm interpreters decorate with greenery and demonstrate holiday cooking in the farm kitchen.
