All Blues, All Weekend, All Over Town! Friday we join forces with FIRSTfriday of Falls Church, a free event featuring live blues music, artist market, numerous cafes, restaurants, and other participants located at the intersection of Rt 29 and Park Avenue in downtown historic Falls Church.  

Kick Off Concert - the State Theatre (tickets) with John Hammond and special guest Phil Wiggins and band.  

Saturday Free events: Early Bird blues at the Farmers Market, Virginia's Music; Playing, Preserving and Innovating; a panel discussion with scholars, well known musicians and cutting edge young musicians discuss the music, passing the torch and the new distinctive fusion of blues and other genre's. Film Screening, Q & A with producers.

Saturday  Blues, BBQ & Brew, (tickets) all day concert in beautiful tree shaded Cherry Hill Park.  National artists, Big Bill Morganfield (Muddy Water's son), Sista Monica, Roy Book BInder, Beverly Quitar Watkins, and the best regional talent Daryl Davis, Mary Ann Redmond, plus more.  BBQ demos, instrument petting zoo, Virginia Songsters, traveling exhibit, kids activities, food vendors, beer garden, vendors plus more! Friday & Saturday live blues music at restaurants and venues all over town!
