The Eastern Shore Artisans Guild will hold its 14th Annual Holiday Tour on Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26 from 10 am to 6 pm. This is a free, self-directed and self-driven tour. There are thirteen stops off Rt. 13 in Accomack and Northampton counties, stretching from Cape Charles in the south to Onancock in the north. The stops include nine artisan and art studios, two historical buildings, an alpaca farm, and Chatham Vineyards.
Visitors on the tour will discover a wide variety of high quality items, most of which are one-of-a-kind pieces. Jewelry, decoys, wildlife carvings, ceramics, art quilts, pottery, metal sculptures, wearable fiber, Windsor chairs, oil and watercolor paintings and more will be found at the various stops on the tour.
The work created by ESAG artisans is inspired by the unique beauty and history of Virginia’s Eastern Shore, and most incorporate materials found or produced locally. ESAG members are dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich artistic heritage of the area. Light refreshments will be available at most stops.
