River of Dust

This beautiful novel is set in China during the early years of the 20th century and follows a missionary’s epic search for his stolen child. Join us as Virginia Pye reads from and discusses her new novel.

Light refreshments (wine and cheese) will be served (5:30–6:00 PM), followed by author talk (6:00–6:45 PM), and book signing (6:45–7:30 PM). "Books on Broad" brings authors and book lovers together in an informal setting with refreshments, stimulating conversation, and an introduction to the Library's collection through our exhibition gallery and other programming. Reading the book beforehand is never required -- just bring your curiosity and a desire to meet new people
