Come Join us for an awesome week of Summer Camp on the gorgeous coast of Virginia! This program is a shortened version of Budding Marine Biologist Summer Camp. For first time campers, this shorter 3-day program offers an exciting introduction to marine science. Explore sandy beaches, salt marshes, and intertidal areas, then climb aboard one of our research vessels to investigate the tidal creeks and other unique local habitats. Plants and animals collected in the field will be brought back to the lab for identification and observation. Evenings will be spent enjoying traditional summer camp fun, including games, teamwork activities, and making your own fish print t-shirt. Ages 10-12
