Caladh Nua, a Gaelic name meaning "a new or safe port or anchorage," delivers modern arrangements while paying homage to the traditional sounds and swells unique to Ireland's centuries of music. The five versatile musicians and singers play a variety of instruments including banjo, fiddle, bodhran, tin whistle, guitar, and button accordion. Traditional Irish music is woven together with the group's innovative contemporary styling to bring to life both the history and future of Irish music.
