Celebration in Lights, Virginia’s first drive-through holiday light event, opens Thanksgiving night! As it has since 1993, Newport News Park will become a magical winter wonderland – transformed by more than 800,000 individual lights, creating animated holiday and fanciful scenes. Along the two-mile drive into Newport News Park, guests will be treated to more than 300 individual display pieces – 70 of which are animated – along with 43 arches and three miles of rope lighting. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Newport News Visitor Center at the entrance to Newport News Park, 13560 Jefferson Ave. To get to the park from eastbound I-64, take Exit 247 (Lee Hall) or from westbound I-64, take Exit 250 B (Ft. Eustis). Visa, Mastercard, cash and checks made payable to the City of Newport News are accepted.

Admission Fee: $12.00 per car or $60.00 per bus
