The Rising Sun Tavern was built by Charles Washington in 1760 as his home, and later operated as a tavern, the only "proper" tavern in the bustling port city of Fredericksburg. Join us for abbreviated tours of the Tavern, Joe Frogger cookies, Colonial spiced tea and caroling.
