Come to Cape Charles, VA on Saturday, May 17 from 3-8 pm for the third annual "Crabby Blues Festival" at Cape Charles Central Park. Enjoy fresh, off-the-boat crabs, live music, silent auction, kids area, petting zoo, arts & crafts vendors, and food vendors. Pre-sale tickets are $10 adults, $5 children 4-12, and kids under 3 are free. Tickets on event day can be purchased at the gate for $12 adults, $7 children. Gate entrances are on Peach Street from both Tazewell and Madison Avenues.
We'll have steamed crabs for sale by the dozen. As boats come in for the day with their haul, we'll be steaming crabs! Other seafood dishes and festival favorites will be available from local restaurants such as Kelly's Gingernut Pub, Aqua, Kona-Ice, Eastern Shore Coastal Roasting Co., and Debbie Kozak's Otter Creek Catering. Beer & wine will also be available for purchase.
Enjoy live music throughout the day. Past performers include Heather and the Oyster Boys, Frank Russell and The Fish Band, John Baldwin, Scott & Melinda, and the Cape Charles Band.
Proceeds benefit Cape Charles Christian School.
