No registration needed. Tuesday, Nancy Ross Hugo, co-author of Remarkable Trees of Virginia, will speak about her new book Seeing Trees, and share her passion for seeing the intricate beauty of their under-appreciated structures. Using images captured by fine art photographer, Robert Llewellyn, the evening includes a slide show that will be perhaps the most beautiful images the Litten Lecture Series has yet offered with pictures that, rather than focusing on the statuesque grandeur of trees, reveal their intimate beauty. Book and print sales and signing at close of lecture. This annual lecture is held in the Festival Conference Center on the campus of James Madison University. Arrive early for best seating for this annual free lecture.
