Winner of Visit Loudoun's 2010 Tourism Event of the Year, the Aldie Harvest Festival features food, entertainment, vendors, crafts, bake sales, and more. Children will enjoy face painting, a moon bounce, and pony rides. Historic Aldie Mill will feature historic lectures and miller Mike Devine will be demonstrating grinding using water power from the mill's twin water wheels. Aldie Mill will also be hosting the Civil War reenactors from the 17th Mississippi Regiment. The Blacksmith Guild will be demonstrating their craft and selling wrought iron items. One of the highlights of the day is the Aldie Volunteer Fire Department Firequacker Duck Race. Ducks are available for adoption up until race time at 3pm.
