HERITAGE DAY. See Heritage Crafters making butter, hominy, molasses, cracklin's, soap, baskets. Watch 1880s printing press, 1920s sawmill, corn gristmill in action. Sample/buy fresh cornmeal. Sheep shearing, petting zoo. Story-telling in old 1-room school house. Blacksmithing & pottery-making demonstations. Miniature horses & mules. Antique cars, tractors, small engines. Music: Bluegrass by Shiloh Grass, dulcimer by Janet Vincent. Hayrides. Arts & crafts - many for sale. BBQ/Hot dogs/baked goods/drinks for sale. Rochelle-Prince House open with a display of local historical items. A fun day for everyone! All activities except food included in admission price.
