81st Historic Garden Week Tour in Chatham, Virginia
Welcome to the 2014 Historic Garden Week sponsored by the Chatham Garden Club on Sunday, April 27th from 1P.M. until 6 P.M. The 2014 tour highlights three centuries of life along Main Street in Chatham. The Hunt House, dating from 1890, and Buttercup Cottage, built in 1916, combine local history, architectural detail and colorful gardens to delight visitors. Refreshments are served throughout the tour at the law offices of Adams, Elmore & Fisk, an historic building in the commercial life of Chatham since 1880.
Leaving Main Street, visitors tour The Blair House, located 2.2 miles from Chatham. This spacious contemporary rock and stucco house, finished in 2014 showcases and imaginative incorporation of nature in the design and decoration of the house and gardens.
Parking is readily available at each location.
