The Garden at Bacon's Castle is the oldest known English Formal Garden in North America.
Presenters will include Wesley Greene from Colonial Williamsburg discuss 17th gardening practices.
The Garden Club of Virginia’s Will Rieley will be on hand discussing new research about Bacon’s Castle garden.
And Nick Luccetti, with James River Archaeology, the first to discover the 17th century garden at Bacon’s Castle will be discussing his finds on the oldest English formal garden in North America! You will not want to miss this symposium and private tour of our garden.
