History Day at Collinsville Library is an informal gathering of people interested in discussing and learning about the history of the area. History Day is held four times a year on the third Sunday afternoon of February, May, August and November. The event starts at 2:30 pm. The diverse group of people attending History Day have a wealth of information to share with all. Participants bring items for "Show and Tell"; photos, memorabilia and personal collections. You can be a participant also. You might be surprised what you have at home and remember if it pertains to history, you can bring it and talk about it. The topics discussed are as varied as the people attending. Time is allotted for questions, sharing information and for assistance in identifying items. You're invited to attend all sessions and learn about history.
