In the Williamsburg-Area James River Plantation Country - explore the Piney Grove at Southall's Plantation collection of antiques, gardens and historic buildings - Piney Grove (1790), Ashland (1835) and Ladysmith (1857), and exterior visits to Dower Quarter (1835) and Duck Church (1917). Four centuries of history comes to life during this unique experience. This special twilight tour includes very special "Tours-by-the-Owners," with lemonade and homemade cookies served in the garden.
Piney Grove at Southall's Plantation is a National Register landmark and is part of Virginia's Civil War Trails, Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail and Jamestown Discovery Trail.
This event may be arranged for groups on other dates. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. PACKAGE PLANS including historic B&B lodging on the property are also available. Fine dining is also available nearby at Charles City Tavern, Courthouse Grill and the Blue Heron Restaurant.
