Music Night at Spencer Penn Centre will have another great line up of Gospel and Bluegrass bands. Starting at 5:30 the stage is free for open mic. 6:20: Chords of Faith; 7:10 Snow Creek Ole Tyme Band ; 8:00 Lawson Creek Grass.
Lawson Creek Grass is from Alton, VA and plays bluegrass music. The band is lead by vocalist and bassist Starlett Boswell Austin. In addition to excellent instrumentation, the band is recognized for their beautiful harmony vocals.
The Snow Creek Old Tyme Band is an old-time music band from the Stokes County North Carolina area. The band consists of Don McDaniel on bass, Ellis DeHart on clawhammer banjo, Jerry George on fiddle and Brenda McDaniel on guitar.
Doors open at 5:00 so come hungry. We will have homemade chicken salad sandwiches, homemade desserts, hot dogs , BBQ, pinto beans and cornbread. You will not leave hungry.
