The Louisa Christmas Festival and Parade are two local Holiday traditions that you don't want to miss! The festival, which is held from 10:00am until 3:00pm in the Courthouse Square is a great place to do some Christmas shopping. Our vendors have all kinds of gift ideas; all types of Christmas wares, woodcrafts, jewelry, Tupperware, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, wreaths, and quilts are just some of the items that have been for sale in years past.
At 2pm our parade celebrating "Christmas in America" starts at Meadow Avenue and travels down Main Street to Rosewood Street, then to the County Administrative Building on Woolfolk Avenue. There are always lots of spectators at this event. Come check out all the vendors, then get your lawn chair and find your spot along the parade route to witness this wonderful event!
