The EJC Arboretum at JMU offers a migratory butterfly 2-hour workshop with Linda Marchman. Linda Marchman, M.Ed., Education Administration, and a certified master gardener, will lead the workshop in tagging services for migratory Monarchs that emerged from their pupae. Those registered will receive and tag a butterfly, release their butterfly to start its migration, and enjoy a lecture from Linda Marchman. The workshop fee includes a Monarch, tagging materials and tagging recordation fee, and hands-on learning activity stations and a lecture. Parents and children can attend together. Educators are welcome, and those who are simply butterfly enthusiasts won't want to miss this great learning opportunity. Workshop held in the Frances Plecker Ed Center of the arboretum.

*This workshop is also available as a class field trip ~ call the Arboretum for details.

Admission Fee: $20
