This is a 40-mile bike ride, 12-mile kayak run a half marathon. Participants can compete solo or in teams of two or three. The race attracts athletes of all fitness levels competing in various age groups and categories, from hardcore solo competitors to "bucket-listers." Friday features dinner, music and race registration. Food and local craft brew will be available for purchase during and after the race for spectators and participants. Registration takes place on Friday, 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 6 to 7:30 a.m. The race is on Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
