What could be better than working up an appetite by paddling around Onancock Creek in a kayak, canoe or stand up paddle board, then feasting on seafood pulled right from the local waters?
At the Onancock Challenge, you can to do just that. The morning race is followed with a seafood boil at Mallards at the Wharf, which is housed in an historic general store. Hungry racers – or onlookers -- feast on bowls of mussels, clams, fish, shrimp and vegetables in a flavorful broth, with plenty of homemade bread to sop up every delicious drop and salads to round out the meal. You can buy a ticket for the Seafood Boil only.
Admission Fee: Registration fee, fee for seafood boil
