OystoberFest in Historic Ginter Park

RICHMOND’S FAVORITE OYSTER ROAST

With Award winning RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER OYSTERS!

Oysters, Beer, Brats, Bands and a Kids’ Zone

Bring on the famous Oysters! The award-winning Rappahannock River Oysters are the featured bivalves. We’ll have fried, steamed and grilled oysters and brats and hotdogs ta’ boot. Beer, wine, hard cider and other refreshments will be available. A day full of live music including, East of Afton, The Mills Family Band, The Southern Belles, Starlighter and The Jimmy Catlett Group. The Kids’ Zone will include a moon-bounce, slides and more.

 

FREE TO ATTEND ($2 Donation suggested) Food, drinks, kids’ zone charged separately.                   

All the events oyster shells will be collected for use in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s (CBF) Save Oysters Shells program – and CBF will be on hand to answers questions about their programs including S.O.S.
