The Second Annual Charter Day is coming to the Town of Port Royal in the form of a Fall Festival.  Charter Day celebrates that Port Royal has been a recognized Town for 270 years.  The Town of Port Royal is on the Historiacal Registry.  This free event will feature colonial and civil war history. The festival will also feature educational programs to recognize our extensive history as a major river port. The story of our of pirate, Pneuman, will be told by the Town Crier. Pirate dress is encouraged.  Live music, food, youth focused activities and beer will be available and served on premises.  Vendors will have wares for sale. This is a perfect chance to start your holiday shopping with unique gifts. The formal program of events will begin at 11AM.  This will be a family friendly event with lots to do and see.  We hope you will come out and celebrate with us.
