The Sea Level Singer/Songwriter Festival is a multi-day celebration of live, original music and features concerts, workshops, showcases and much more. Now in its 7th year, it is the ONLY Singer/Songwriter Festival in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Festival is also the largest annual fundraiser for Tidewater Arts Outreach (TAO), a 501c(3) Virginia not-for-profit corporation.
Tidewater Arts Outreach (TAO) presents the only singer/songwriter contest and festival in Coastal Virginia. Festival activities include a Headliner Concert, the Emerging Artist Contest, Live Performance Showcases by local musicians, a Merrill Guitar Raffle, and the Instruments of Art Gala Auction.
The festival’s main event is a ticketed concert featuring a nationally-recognized recording artist, who joins the Sea Level Singer/Songwriter Festival on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Naro Expanded Cinema. Local rising stars open the show. The Naro, located in the heart of Ghent, (Norfolk) is an ideal, intimate venue that seats 530. The Naro is transformed into a concert hall with professional sound and lighting systems. Adult beverages, concert shirts and artist CDs are sold before and after the concert.
Admission Fee: Several Festival events have fees ranging from $10 to $35; many events are free and open to the public
