It’s a big bash for Big Red, the legendary 1973 Triple Crown winner born at The Meadow in Doswell, VA! Come celebrate Secretariat’s birthday with Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte; exercise rider Charlie Davis;  biographer and Secretariat movie consultant Bill Nack; and author/speaker Kate Chenery Tweedy, daughter of Penny Chenery.

Highlights during the 3-day celebration include:  autograph sessions and VIP tram tours of the farm with Secretariat team members; VIP Reception and Secretariat Storytelling Program;  a “family reunion” of Meadow Stable descendants in the show ring; extensive display of Secretariat merchandise and memorabilia; Open House for the Meadow Champion Galleries and Museum of the Virginia Horse and more.

The birthday celebration is part of the new Virginia Horse Festival. General admission is $10 online and $15 at the gate.  The VIP reception is $100 per person with limited tickets available.
