Visit the Virginia farm that produced an American legend, now a Virginia Historic Landmark!

Walk in the hoofprints of Secretariat at The Meadow where the legendary Triple Crown winner was born and raised.  See his original foaling shed, yearling and training barns and other points of interest on this historic site.  Inside stately Meadow Hall, see the Meadow Champions Galleries, Triple Crown Room and exhibits of the Museum of the Virginia Horse.

Tours are conducted by Leeanne Meadows Ladin, Secretariat tourism manager and co-author of the award-winning "Secretariat's Meadow – The Land, The Family, The Legend."  She will share exclusive behind-the-scenes stories about the farm, the family and the famous mares and stallions of Meadow Stable. After the tour, she will sign books in the Meadow gift shop.

Narrated tours are available by tram for groups of 15 or more and as walking tours for smaller groups or individuals.  Reservations and payment must be made in advance.  Tours are generally available Tuesday - Saturday at 10 am and 2 pm;  Sundays at 2 pm.   Availability depends on the event schedule of Meadow Event Park.

These tours are a great activity for corporate or civic outings, retirement  communities, family trips and anyone who loves horses and history!
