Visit the Virginia farm that produced an American legend, now listed on the state and national historic registers!

Walk in the hoofprints of Secretariat at The Meadow where the legendary Triple Crown winner was born and raised.  See his foaling shed, yearling and training barns, the Meadow Champions Galleries, Triple Crown Room, new LOVEwork and new racing stride markers. You can even take a "Selfie with Secretariat" by our new life-size poster.

Tours are conducted by Leeanne Meadows Ladin, Secretariat tourism manager and co-author of the award-winning "Secretariat's Meadow – The Land, The Family, The Legend."  She shares exclusive behind-the-scenes stories about the farm, the family and the famous mares and stallions of Meadow Stable. After the tour, she signs books in the Meadow gift shop.

Tram tours are available for groups of 15 or more and walking tours for smaller groups or individuals.  Reservations must be made in advance.  Tours are generally available Tuesday - Friday at 10 am and 2 pm;  Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm.   Availability depends on the event schedule of Meadow Event Park.

These tours are a great activity for corporate or civic outings, retirement  communities, family trips and anyone who loves horses and history!
