In the first 20 years of the auction, almost $3.5 million has been raised to support Brethren Disaster Ministries. Now that the auction is turning 21, this could be the year that it sets a fundraising record! The previous record: $221,196 set in 2011.

The annual Shenandoah District Church of the Brethren Disaster Response Auction has become a major part of the disaster response ministry for the Shenandoah District. More than 1,000 persons have attended each year, enjoying the special meals, auction of quality home crafted items including quilts, woodwork, etc., livestock auction, sale items, and children's activities including a petting zoo. Auctions are held Friday evening and Saturday morning.
