From outer space to the wild blue yonder, super summer science camps at the Virginia Air & Space Center means stellar summer fun! These educational science camps inspire young minds to pursue careers in the sciences and offer them hands-on experiences and lots of new friends!

Grades K-2-3:

Dive into everything that involves science from Chemistry to Engineering to the limits of outer space! Explore every branch of science with fun hands-on activities and experiments that will leave you fascinated! Learn how to make quicksand. Create fossils that are sure to bring out the young Paleontologist in you! Design and build your own spaceship while you learn about space. Become an engineer and build a paper bridge that can support 100 pennies!

Grades 4-5:

Dive into everything that involves science from Chemistry to Biology to the limits of outer space! Make a yeast-air balloon to get a better idea of what yeast can do, and an agar plate to grow your own bacteria! Design a lab to test your heart rate or lung capacity. Build your own spaceship, space station, or satellite. Put your engineering knowledge to the test as you try to design the tallest tower in the room!

Admission Fee: $175 for non-members/ $165 for members
