Presenting, at 7:30pm, Dr. Jonathan Monroe shares his bicycling trip to western Ireland where he circled the Burren, a vast area of exposed limestone, rich in botanical diversity, hard with winds and rain. In Dr. Monroe's slideshow, see colorful pictures of Rock Rose, Bloody Cranesbill, and Heath Spotted Orchid among other wildflowers. Also enjoy interesting sites like the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren Perfumery, the Irish matchmaking town of Lisdoonvarna, and a small ancient burial site dating back to 2500 BC, Poulnabrone Dolmen. Dr. Monroe also shares his evening with a group of butterfly enthusiasts at a pub in Ballyvaughan during the presentation that concludes 8:30 pm.
