Enjoy a day on the beautiful Northern Neck at the annual Heathsville Strawberry Festival. The event features more than 100 quality craft artists, freshly picked local strawberries, strawberry shortcake, and a variety of other food and beverages. St. Stephen's Plant & Bake sale will feature hundreds of hybrid daylilies, herbs, vegetables, annuals, and Meade's Famous Rum Cakes. A variety of live music will be provided, and tours of the historic church will be available.

The Strawberry Festival in various forms can be traced back to the earliest days of the church, which was consecrated in 1881and put on the Virginia Register of Historic Landmarks in 1979. The festival is a major community event and draws thousands of people of all ages from throughout the region.
