The Menaechmi - by Plautus
Misplaced twins, a wealthy wife, a coy courtesan, aprofessional parasite, and a foolish father-in law populate The Menaechmi, a classical tale of confusion. This play by Roman author Plautus was Shakespeare’s source material for The Comedy of Errors, beloved in its own time for its slapstick humor and swift wit.
