Hatch will also sign copies of his exceptional book on the Monticello Vegetable Garden, "A Rich Spot of Earth": Thomas Jefferson's Revolutionary Garden at Monticello. Jack Gary, director of Archaeology and Landscapes at Poplar Forest, will discuss exciting new landscape restoration efforts currently taking place at Jefferson's private retreat in Lynchburg, Virginia. Guided garden tours, informal workshops, and family-friendly garden activities will also be offered.
