Registration for the Turkey Day 5K event includes a holiday related garment, post race snacks, on-course aid station, plus awards for the top three male and female overall winners, top three families crossing the finish line as a group, and the top three in each 5 year age group. Fabulous awards include turkey, pumpkin, acorn, and maple leaf shaped cutting boards, turkey basters, and the top family prize of a stainless steel roasting pan with rack. The partially wooded course starts at the YMCA, winds along the Silverbell Trail and Dick & Willie Passage, and tours through UpTown Martinsville. Help stock the Grace Network community pantry with your generous donation! Each participant is encouraged to bring one or more items. Registration is $20 until November 11, then $25 until race day. Those registering for the Family Division must consist of a minimum of two generations. If registering on or before November 11, each member of the group may deduct $2 from the entry fee.
