Tucanos Brazilian Grill in Newport News, Va., will introduce a little bit of Brazil into the Old Dominion. Join us for the second annual festival in the Mid-Atlantic and enjoy your fill of authentic Brazilian culture, food, arts and rhythms.
The 2015 Virginia Brazilian Festival features Brazilian and American artists and performers in the event park at the City Center at Oyster Point. Festivities begin with a Samba Parade and then continue with dance demonstrations, craft workshops, including fun children’s activities. Music and dance are featured on the Fountain Stage throughout the day by Brazilian musicians and dancers, leading up to a performance by a headlining Brazilian band.
Free admission and open to the public. Food, beverages, and gifts available for purchase.
There's plenty to see and do: Authentic Brazilian musical entertainment, samba and other native dances as well as children’s activities. Celebrate and share the heritage of the Brazilian culture, food and people!
