This is the  2nd annual "When I Was A Child – artful memories of childhood" art show and fundraiser to benefit a local elementary school's art program.  What a way to start back to school, with a closet full of great supplies! 

EXHIBITS INCLUDE:

WHEN I WAS A CHILD -  Richmond child-focused organizations and businesses contribute to this event and provide information and prizes. Guests can bid on auction items that include: artwork, children's room furnishings, hand-decorated by Richmond artists and gift filled baskets. Children participate in a "Kids Dress Up" fashion show. There are children art activities and refreshments for young and old.

CELEBRATING OVER 100 YEARS IN FLIGHT- by Emma Lou Martin.

ART WORKS GALLERY MEMBERS ART SHOW - Gallery Members and Resident Artists of Art Works present signature pieces of their work in this annual exhibit. On opening night, guests are asked to vote for their 3 favorite pieces. The results are tallied and The People's Choice Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are presented.

THE VIRGINIA COLLAGE SOCIETY - group show.

ECO-URBAN ART II - by Jamie Phillips. Phillips combines computer parts, widgets and gadgets with his paintings to create urban landscapes, sculptures and jewelry.
