The National Civil War Life Museum tells the story of soldiers and civilians during the Civil War Period. This impressive collection of relics speaks of the soldier's life from enlistment and training camps to combat on all the famous battlefields of the war and how the war impacted the nation. The exhibits and life size dioramas provide a wonderful opportunity for adults and children alike to learn about this turbulent time. See the Museum and Civil War Life in 3-D theater, a 20-minute presentation of original Civil War 3-D photographs. $5 fee per person. Have your photograph taken by an authentic Civil War glass-plate photographer. Visit the HomeFront gift shop for a fine selection of books, candles, music, jewelry, home accents and other historically relevant gifts. Open daily. Handicapped accessible.
