Francis Moseley Land built this large brick plantation home circa 1805 on property his family had owned for 150 years. The house has many original features and is representative of the prominence of the Land family in Princess Anne County. Called Virginia Beach since 1963, a resort and suburban community has transformed the setting for the house. The building features period rooms, special exhibits and a well-appointed museum store. The grounds provide a beautiful oasis along Virginia Beach Boulevard with large trees, neat gardens and a wooded wetland trail. Bus Parking. Restrooms. Special events. Discounted Combination tickets with the Lynnhaven and Adam Thoroughgood Houses. Closed Mondays and Holidays.
