Built in 1896, it has gorgeous solid oak woodwork, original wood floors, hand-painted imported mural and many of the orginal furnishings. There are nine fireplaces, three floors and a total of 19 rooms. The grounds include a granary, a smokehouse, and a spring house. Additionally, the "Rosie Trigg Cottage" that houses The Tazewell County Visitor Center, as well as the recently reconstructed Bailey Log Cabin is on the grounds. The Sanders House is a historical treasure, preserving aspects of past and contemporary grace.
